In Cyberpunk 2077, side quests often present players with emotional choices that significantly impact character outcomes. One of the most easily missed objectives during the Happy Together quest requires players to visit a memorial site before reporting back to the NCPD officers. Completing this optional step changes the trajectory of the storyline and unlocks the best possible resolution for everyone involved.

Understanding the Importance of the Optional Objective

During the Happy Together questline, players are tasked with checking in on Barry, a grieving police officer who has locked himself in his apartment. While it is possible to immediately return to his colleagues after speaking with him, doing so locks in a tragic outcome. Engaging deeply in conversation and exploring his dialogue options unveils the optional task to locate his friend's memorial.

Taking the extra time to investigate this clue reveals critical context about Barry's emotional state and his bond with Andrew. Without this key piece of information, the officers outside will fail to realize the gravity of his mental health crisis.

How to Locate Andrew's Niche at the Columbarium

To fulfill this objective, open your map and head directly to the North Oak Columbarium located in Westbrook. Once you arrive at the memorial site, navigate through the niches until you find the specific memorial tablet dedicated to Andrew. Interacting with and reading the grave marker reveals surprising details that clarify why Barry is in deep distress.

Scanning the plaque confirms the necessary quest trigger for your journal updates. If you want to review full quest solutions and guides, check out Find Andrews Niche Before Talking To The Cops Quest Solution for additional gaming tips.

Reporting Back to Save Barry

With the investigation complete at the columbarium, travel back to the apartment building to speak with Officers Mendez and Petrova. Choose the dialogue options that mention visiting Andrew's niche rather than brushing off his depression. Sharing these genuine insights prompts the officers to intervene compassionately and offer Barry the support he needs.

Successfully delivering this message secures a positive resolution to the quest and prevents a grim outcome. Following these precise steps ensures you navigate Night City's most delicate side missions with complete success.
